What happens when public health becomes a matter of global security? When pandemics cross borders faster than policy consensus, how do governments cooperate, institutions respond, and leaders rebuild trust in science in an age of misinformation?

Dr. Anthony Fauci serves as a Distinguished University Professor in the Georgetown School of Medicine’s Department of Medicine in the division of infectious diseases. He was also the longtime Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), key medical advisor to seven U.S. presidents, Chief Medical Advisor to President Joe Biden during COVID-19, and a principal architect of the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR).
